I have a 12+ yr old leather jacket that just received a full restoration using the Leather Afterlife Leather Conditioner and Restorer, pictured below.

My brown leather jacket was given to me by my ex-girlfriend more than 12 years ago (I say ex-girlfriend, because she is currently my wife). It has sections on it that were beginning to fade in color, especially the areas in the shoulder that were exposed to rain/moisture (I’ve been rained on multiple times while using this jacket in the past). However, after applying this Leather Afterlife solution, it’s like the faded area never existed! It worked pretty good, and now my brown leather jacket looks almost new again! It was starting to lighten up and fade, but after application, it gave it back its dark brown appearance as it was bought. I’m glad to know that the application will also help protect the leather jacket from future abuse, whether from the weather or by regular wear and tear. The label states that it repels water, so this is good in my case.

As far as any oily residue, I did not notice any oily or sticky residue after leaving the jacket for several hours after application. It does not leave a bad smell (unless your leather accessory already smelled bad in the first place). Whatever scent it has is very subtle and shouldn’t be an issue with your sensitive nose.

I’m thinking of using this also on my pair of church boots, and probably the leather seats in our family car.
