There is no way my daughters will ever get tired of their endless supply of markers! I have the US Art Supply 48 Marker Bucket Set and the US Art Supply 100 Count Washable Marker Set — both of which my daughters are delighted to have for Christmas!
The Bucket marker set by US Art Supply is really a package of 4 sets of 12 different-color markers for a total of 48. Make sure you understand before buying this: You’re not getting 48-different colors, but 12 different colors x 4. I have pulled out the 12 colors in a set, for your reference. With 4 sets, my kids will never run out of the same color — because when a particularly-colored marker is getting close to being used up, there are still 3 of the same color to replace. That’s convenient, if you ask me!
Each marker in the 48-count bucket set has a “fat” (for lack of a better word) ink tip. It starts out wide and then narrows down to a point at the very tip. To draw thick lines, hold the marker at an angle close to the surface of the desk; for a thinner line, just hold the marker at a minimal angle pointing down. Teach your children these tips and let them experiment with their artwork.
As if the bucket set is not enough… the 100-Count Set of markers by US Art Supply takes it to the next level! There is no way my little daughters should be fighting for markers anymore, coz they have more than enough to choose from! LOL
Let me add that the more I look at it, the more I am convinced that the 100-count package is actually a set of 2 x 50-color markers. Look at the photo above and see if you can conclude the same thing as I have deduced. What do you think? It’s not mentioned in the sales page, but that’s what it seems like to me. Don’t you see a pair for each color?
In comparison to the 48-ct set, each marker in the 100-ct set has a fine tip, which you can see in the photo below.
Why so much markers? Well, our kids like to draw… and that’s okay! We want to encourage their artistic side. It’s heartwarming when one of the kids draws something, comes up to me after a long day of work, and tells me that she made it especially for me.
The only problem with having this much set of US Art Supply markers is that we run out of printer/copy papers pretty quick! Now I have to fight my kids for paper LOL!
By the way, both marker choices are water-based. I like that because it means I can easily wash off the ink from their hands or the ink that accidentally gets on their clothes. The markers are also non-toxic, which is very reassuring to me as a parent knowing that my children are safe from ink fumes that can get them “high”
Another aspect that I find very appealing with purchasing the US Art Supply markers is the satisfaction guarantee. I’m just gonna quote directly from the sales page, and I know you’ll agree with me this is a pretty good offer:
“RISK FREE PURCHASE – 100% LIFETIME SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: We’re so confident that you’ll be delighted with our washable markers that if you’re not satisfied with them at anytime, we’ll provide a full refund.”
