I love this Vintage Bicycle Clock by OceanTailer! My wife loves it even more! (although that’s subjective and open to debate). It’s a functional decorative piece, so it’s a win-win for us! This photo doesn’t really do justice to it, but I hope it’s close enough. I can assure you, it looks very nice if you are into vintage concepts.
Overall, you are looking at a piece that is approximately 9.5 inches at its highest point (the bicycle handles) and approximately 14 inches long.
The front wheel is the base for the clock, which is powered by only 1 AA battery. Although the battery is not included in the package, I can’t complain. I have several in stock so this is not an issue for me. The clock on the front wheel is a little less than 5 inches in diameter.
The battery compartment is located in the back of the front wheel. There’s a small hole in the cover so you can stick a finger in there to help pull out the cover.
The photo below reveals the gears and the battery compartment.
The OceanTailer Vintage Bicycle Clock is a great decorative piece for a shelf or on top of your mantle or desk. We decided to add this to our shelf of antique collections in our home library/office. It blends in just fine!
I think that this bicycle clock would make a great gift for Mother’s Day, Christmas, or just anytime of the year really to appreciate anyone. If you know someone that’s into biking and such, that’s even better.
