If you or someone you know is frequently losing items in the house, such as keys, remotes, and other stuff, this product comes handy. It’s the DEOMAI Wireless RF Item Locator.
Unboxing the DEOMAI Wireless RF Keychain Item Locator / Key Finder
I received mine quickly in the mail with Amazon Prime. When you unbox the package, you should see the following items:
– remote transmitter
– 6 receivers
– key rings to use with your keychain
– mounting accessories
– rubber sheet
– manual
The receivers are a little bigger than a quarter. I have taken the photo below for reference.
How to Use the DEOMAI Wireless RF Item Locator Key Finder
It’s really simple! If you need to find a key or another item that has been paired up to the unit, just press the button on the transmitter corresponding to that item. The receiver will emit a sound so you can locate your item easily. Make sure you attach the receiver to an item that you frequently lose around the house.
The transmitter has numbers imprinted on each section. This corresponds to a specific receiver which is also labeled with a number to avoid confusion. You have to pair each receiver to the transmitter. You can pair multiple receivers (there’s 6 included) to the transmitter. It’s simple to do. Just turn on receiver. Each receiver has a tiny switch on the site to power on the receiver. Don’t forget to turn this on.
The receiver will beep. Next, press any button on the transmitter. The receiver will stop beeping once pairing has been completed.
Final Checks on the DEOMAI Wireless Key Finder
Don’t forget to pull out the white plastic tab from the transmitter to activate the battery. The white plastic tab is there to save battery life while the unit is in storage. I’m really glad that this unit comes with batteries already, so you can use them right away. Otherwise, you’re going to need a CR2032 for the transmitter and the receivers.
