I have 3 little kids and having glass cups just does not work out well for us at home. If I remember correctly, about 25% of our glassware are still left intact… most of them already broken by accident (I am guilty of having chipped a couple myself, I must admit). I like these stainless steel cups, especially when it comes to cold drinks. Due to conduction, the cup gets cold pretty quickly when you pour in ice water/juice. It just gives me that additional feeling that I’m really getting some refreshing cold drink. They’re made of food-grade stainless steel that is BPA-free… so that’s reassuring.

It’s also convenient to have these stainless steel cups because they are stackable. So when I handwash these cups, I can stack them up without losing much-needed space on the drying mat. As far as stacking tall glass cups — I don’t know if you’ve ever tried stacking glass cups…but it’s not a good idea.

With regards to how they look, we have stainless steel appliances at home, so these cups blend in just fine.

I expect this to last us for awhile. I don’t think I have to worry about rust so soon… not until at least after it’s been abused and scratched up for maybe a decade (=
