– It’s very easy to set the pin code. When you first receive it, it will be on default 0000 code. To set the pin code to your preference, first open the lock by sliding up the black tab next to the dials. This will open the cover. Look for a silver handle inside the box, on the side. You won’t miss it. It says “RESET” in big letters. Slide the silver handle from A to B, then align the code you like by dialing the number keys. What I really like about the number dials is that they turn smoothly and click properly on their right spots. Once you made your pin choice, slide the silver handle back from B to A. Now you can use your code. Don’t worry, an instruction manual is included for your reference. Follow it closely, or you’ll risk losing a key and a lock! I set mine without problem in no time!
– The sales page says it’s made of double-walled, impact-resistant construction. That is nice. However, I would say this can still break with a huge sledge hammer that they use to break large chunks of concrete in a construction area. But then again… who brings a huge sledge hammer around to break into someone’s house? Most thieves look for the easiest option.
