I had one of those sticky lint rollers in my glove compartment in the car, but never had the chance to buy another one when that thing ran out. I’ve used it to remove pet hair/fur from my clothes after visiting clients, or to remove lint from my dress clothes when I’m dressed up for church or other special occasions. The lint remover by Furzie is a comparable, and perhaps better, alternative!
One advantage it has over the lint roller is that the Furzie lint remover does not ever need to be refilled or replaced. That’s good for me, because I don’t always remember to buy a replacement… otherwise, I’d have a new one by now. Besides, I don’t like going shopping at brick-and-mortar stores to look for one. However, with the Furzie lint remover, once you have one, you can use it for quite a long time… possibly for life!
Another good thing about the Furzie lint remover is that it does not leave a mark or trail, like in some cases with the sticky lint roller. Now, I can be more confident using this on dark-colored or black garments or clothes.
By the way, it may be a good idea to clean this regularly after each use, to prevent lints or other debris from transferring over to another surface/shirt/garment/etc. It’s easy to clean; just wash it with water, rinse, and dry and you’re good to go. Nothing to rip out or throw away like a sticky lint roller.
It’s not a bad alternative at all, and does a decent job depending on the type of “thing” that you are trying to remove. There are some instances where you might have to do several strokes in the same area to get good results, as expected.
By the way, its plastic handle is ergonimically designed, and has grooves molded to fit your fingers properly.
