In case you were wondering what the silicone dioxide is for, I have looked this up online and read that silicon dioxide is often used in medications and supplements in low doses as an “anti-caking agent.” In other words, the silica is used to ensure that supplement ingredients do not stick together when exposed to moisture. I’ve found many supplements in our medication cabinet to contain this, so I guess it’s a normal thing to do.
The label also shows that this formula does not contain any of the following: soy, sugar, yeast, dairy, gluten, artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. If you have sensitivities to any of the above, then you are safe with the Berry Sleepy 100% Fruit Sleep Aid.
This formula contains extracts from the following to help promote sleep: passion fruit, Goji berries, and tart cherries.
The recommended dose as directed on the label is 2 capsules with water 30 minutes before sleep. My suggestion is that once you start feeling sleepy after taking the supplement, don’t fight it and lose the effects. Go to bed!
If taken nightly as a sleep aid for insomnia, a bottle should last a month if using the recommended serving. If you are a little cautious about taking the full dose recommended and want to see first how you react to it, then you can probably start with 1 capsule first and see what effects you will get. That’s what I do sometimes. But then again, it’s got natural ingredients, so I don’t expect a bad reaction. When I used it, I took the recommended dose without any issues; slept well and was able to go to work without problem. I don’t take mine every night because I don’t want to get used to it. However, I do take the supplements as needed, especially when I could use the help. A good night’s rest is very important.
