I gotta tell you, I was impressed with this JClaw Tek Fire Talon Multitool as shown below. I say impressed because I get excited when it comes to little gadgets like this one, especially those that are portable but can do a lot of things.
In it’s folded position, it might not look like it can do much. But start unfolding the JClaw Tek Fire Talon Multitool and you’ll start smiling. Well, the little geek in me did anyway (=
Here it is as a plier, with features that can strip or cut wires. Well, just looking at the photo above, you didn’t expect a plier in there, did you?
Need some light in the dark? No problem! This thing has got you covered!
As if that’s not enough, they give you another LED light on the other side — this time, a smaller version. In fact, I didn’t know about the extra LED light. I just pressed what looked like a button on one of the handles and this light came on. This tool just keeps giving out surprises!
Now don’t expect the LED lights to illuminate a field! But if you’re working on a small space, these will give you enough light to do your job without fiddling blindly to make repairs and such.
The LED lights are powered by a small battery, which you can find replacement for in stores such as CVS, Walmart, and such. The location is labeled so that you will know where to release the battery compartment if changing batteries were to become necessary in the future.
Here’s a knife hidden within, with a sharp blade — part of it serrated for your cutting needs.
But don’t worry about the knife accidentally folding back in on your fingers. Ouch! I know I thought about that possibility, but as I looked closer, it’s got a locking mechanism in place — which is a relief. To fold the knife back in, just press the area that has a lock etched in (see photo below).
Wondering what else is hidden within? Just take a look at the photo below. There’s a scissor, Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, a can opener, bottle opener… am I missing something else? Did I mention it has rubber grips on the handle? The grips give the handle a unique design.
I flipped it so you can see a view of the other side. I like the black color too, it looks ‘slick’ that way. Much better than a stainless steel option, I think.
Did I say there’s a LIFETIME WARRANTY on this? That’s a good deal, if you ask me!
Anyway, if you’re curious where you can read more about this item, the JClaw Tek Fire Talon Multitool is currently available on Amazon at a 43 percent discount at the time of this writing.
