I have a 32oz water bottle that I finally got tired of because it had a wide bottom that couldn’t fit on a standard cup-holder in my car. It was pointless taking it for travelling and I got tired of having to pick it up off the floor when it rolled over. The VALRO 30 Oz Stainless Steel Tumbler was such a good replacement to that problem.
It fits just right with its bottom design, so I don’t have to worry about using this in our cars anymore. The downside is that I lose 2 oz of fluid space by replacing my old 32oz water bottle with this VALRO 30 Oz Stainless Steel Tumbler — but that’s not really much of a loss if you ask me, considering the convenience it now offers me.
It is marketed to keep hot drinks hot for at least 6 hours. I don’t really use this tumbler for hot liquids, so that doesn’t matter to me much. It also claims to maintain cold drinks for at least 24 hours. I haven’t really put that to an ultimate 24-hr test. However, my shifts at work are 12 hours long, and let me say that it definitely keeps my drink cold throughout the shift.
Also, I usually have to put the old water bottle on top of a paper towel due to moisture dripping down the bottle to my desk, but I noticed that I didn’t have to worry about this problem with the VALRO 30 Oz Stainless Steel Tumbler.
By the way, it comes with a steel straw as a bonus, if you’d rather use a straw than sip though the opening. I personally just prefer to sip though the opening, so that I can close it shut when I’m done drinking. I also like that it comes with a brush cleaner, though I wish that the brush was bigger and thicker to be more effective. Now that I think about it… maybe the brush cleaner is for the straw. If that’s the case, then it’s just the right size!
Overall, I’m happy to own the VALRO 30 Oz Stainless Steel Tumbler. I gave my old water bottle to my wife! LOL
